My Story
A graduate of the University of Glasgow in Scotland, I have been teaching within an inquiry-based framework for 24 years. I consider myself an international teacher, having worked in schools in Scotland, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, the USA, France and Italy.
I’m an avid believer in the inquiry based process of learning, having taught mostly within the International Baccalaureate’s Primary Years Programme. By teaching children to tune into their own curiosity of the world and to provide them with the skills and strategies necessary to find out the answers to their questions, I know that we are creating lifelong learners with a global outlook.
After 20 years of roaming the globe, I have now returned home and am based just outside of Edinburgh in the beautiful Scottish countryside.
